Warranty

Terms of Sale

Payment details: As these video walls are custom orders, one hundred percent of total price is non-refundable, including applicable taxes shipping, crating and related expenses. A minimum of 50% shall be paid by Buyer upon acceptance of the order before order is released. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance prior to delivery. Buyer agrees to pay all expenses related to collections and attorney’s fees. CreationLED, LLC accepts ACH, bank transfers and wire transfers only.
Shipping and Handling : All physical damages incurred during shipment will be the responsibility of CreationLED, LLC and will be limited to the total price. Damage caused during unloading is the Buyer’s responsibility and is not considered physical shipping damage. Shipping times may vary. Standard shipping is by boat and is approximately 30 days plus customs clearance times. Expedited air shipping is typically under 1 week plus customs clearance times. Expedited shipping is additional and must be quoted by CreationLED, LLC prior to ordering the video wall.
Claims and Cure for Physical Shipping Damages: If Buyer observes visible physical shipping damage, Buyer shall mark each box on Buyer’s packing list or shipping invoice to the carrier at the time of delivery at arrival location and shall provide a copy to CreationLED, LLC within 7 calendar days of delivery, accompanied by photograph(s) taken while the delivery person is still present showing the damage during the time of delivery and obtain a signature of the delivery person. Claims for hidden physical shipping damage must be reported in writing within 10 business days of delivery. Buyer shall give CreationLED, LLC and/or its agents a reasonable opportunity to inspect, test and repair or replace the video wall or portion thereof. Buyer’s remedy for video wall’s physical damages during shipping, and CreationLED, LLC’s liability for shipping damages, shall be replacement or repair of such video wall or parts damaged as determined by CreationLED, LLC. Buyer and CreationLED, LLC shall do their best to resolve this matter timely and economically. CreationLED, LLC reserves the right to have additional time to resolve any issue in the event of natural disasters, embargos, labor strikes and or any kind of acts of God, etc.
Returns: As these video walls (and associated products) are custom orders, there are no returns for any reason. If you get your product and it’s damaged or doesn’t work correctly, of course we will take care of it within the terms of the shipping claims above. If you get your product and change your mind, CreationLED, LLC is not able to accept a return. Buyer may cancel the order after placing the order, prior to shipment of the order, however the initial 50% is non-refundable.
Limitation and Disclaimer of CreationLED, LLC’s Liability: Buyer’s remedy for CreationLED, LLC’s breach of this agreement and to any term hereof, and CreationLED, LLC’s liability for such breach, shall be replacement or repair of the video wall and its parts actually delivered to Buyer. CreationLED, LLC shall not be liable to Buyer for loss or damage of any kind arising out of this transaction in excess of the video wall price. CreationLED, LLC will not be responsible for consequential or incidental damages including but not limited to loss profit, loss of goodwill, etc. Buyer agrees that the above limitations on liability and remedies are independent of the agreed remedies under this agreement. Buyer understands that appropriate surge protection is recommended for the video walls. During very high electrical surges, there is a possibility of damage to the video wall (power supplies, receiver cards, etc) and is not covered by the warranty. CreationLED, LLC shall not bear any responsibility for shipping delays due to natural disasters, customs inspections holding, labor strikes of third party companies, ocean shipping conditions, national holidays, vacations, related events and Acts of God. However, CreationLED, LLC shall do its best to deliver goods to Buyer, and notify the Buyer of possible delays and reason for the delay prior to due date as a courtesy and is not legally bound to do so.
Buyer’s Breach: Video walls delayed in shipment at the request of the Buyer will be subject to daily storage fees as determined at the time of the delay. Fees vary depending on warehouse, and will be charged at current rate plus 5%.
Right to obtain photographs: Buyer agrees that CreationLED, LLC may use Buyer’s name and photographs of the video wall in CreationLED, LLC’s advertising and promotional materials without compensation to the Buyer. Buyer must submit in writing a request to exclude their name and/or photographs from CreationLED, LLC’s advertising and promotional materials.

Warranty

Miscellaneous

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any litigation arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be exclusively brought to arbitration located in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 

As the original purchaser (the “Buyer”), you agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration, and agree that arbitration shall take place exclusively in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. By purchasing a product from CreationLED, you acknowledge and consent to this arbitration requirement. The arbitral award is final and binding on both parties, and the arbitrator shall have the authority to grant any remedy or judgment consistent with this Agreement.

Scope of Limited Warranty and Limitation of Liabilities and Remedies

THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN IS IN LIEU OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED AND DENIED. 

CreationLED warrants the following products for the specified periods, from the date of shipment to the Buyer:

  • LED Video Wall Displays: 3 years, free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • LED Strip Tape: 1 year, free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including power supply and driver when purchased with the LED strip tape
  • LED Lighting Products: 2 year, free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, for the fixtures only (not accessories)

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from CreationLED or from an authorized CreationLED dealer or distributor. The warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to products purchased or transferred outside the United States.

The liability under this warranty is limited to the provision of user-serviceable replacement spare parts for manufacturing defects, including modules, power supplies, circuit boards, chipsets, LED diodes, etc. CreationLED is not responsible for labor costs associated with the replacement or repair of defective parts. 

The warranty for parts provided during the warranty period shall expire when the original LED video wall display warranty ends. CreationLED is not responsible for issues arising from communications failures, internet outages, or mismatched systems. Parts not supplied by CreationLED are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty only. The Buyer is responsible for installation of any repaired or replaced parts.

For repairs exceeding the provided spare parts, LED diodes and modules may be serviced in the U.S., with the cost of shipping and repairs borne by the Buyer. The Buyer is responsible for safe, long-term storage of spare parts. Degradation of replacement parts is not covered under warranty.

  • Rigging Hardware (due to manufacturing defects) is covered by a 1-year warranty (parts replacement/repair only)
  • Cables and Accessories, even those provided with the video wall, are covered for 30 days (parts replacement only)
  • Video Wall Processors (e.g., Colorlight, Novastar) are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, which may vary
  • LED Strip Tape Products: Warranty is limited to the replacement of faulty parts when installed according to the instructions. Labor for part replacement is the Buyer’s responsibility
  • LED Lighting Products: Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts when installed properly. Labor for de-installation, shipping, and re-installation is the Buyer’s responsibility

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

The warranty does not cover, and is expressly excluded for, the following circumstances:

  • Damage or failure due to abuse, neglect, misuse, improper storage, accident, electrical surges, improper wiring, or power issues (over/under-voltage)
  • Improper installation by the Buyer or third parties, including resellers
  • Use of the products in environments exceeding their specified application type (e.g., indoor products used outdoors)
  • Damage caused by third-party supplied power, data, rigging, etc
  • Unauthorized modifications or tampering with the products
  • Labor for removal, replacement, or installation of parts or equipment
  • Damage or failure from exposure to extreme weather, natural disasters, salinity, or other conditions exceeding the product’s ingress protection rating
  • Failure of third-party hardware or related equipment
  • Natural reduction in brightness, color, or partial LED pixel degradation
  • “Burn In” from continuous static images
  • Security or functionality issues within the Buyer’s network or systems
  • Missing or broken edge pixels on video wall modules
  • Costs associated with downtime or loss of rental income due to a warranty issue
  • Costs associated with any structural building modifications required to remove or replace product

This warranty is not a service or maintenance contract and does not include routine maintenance, cleaning, or periodic check-ups.

CreationLED is not responsible for shipping delays, parts shortages, or other events beyond its control, including force majeure events. CreationLED will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from product use, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.

No Binding by Third Parties

No agent, employee, dealer, distributor, or representative of CreationLED has the authority to bind CreationLED to any terms or conditions outside the scope of this Limited Warranty. Any provisions in the Buyer’s purchase order that conflict with the terms of this warranty, or that are not expressly included herein, shall be of no effect.

Proof of Purchase and Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, the Buyer must provide a dated proof of purchase (Sales Order or Invoice). Failure to provide acceptable proof may result in denial of warranty service. Warranty coverage is only available to the original purchaser and is not transferable.


Optional Extended Warranty

CreationLED offers an optional 5-year extended warranty, which provides an additional 2 years beyond the initial 3-year warranty for LED Video Wall Displays. This extended warranty covers only the LED Video Wall Display, associated modules, and power supplies. It includes the same terms and exclusions as the original warranty, except for the following enhancements:

  • Additional modules and power supplies will be provided.
  • Offsite repairs for manufacturing defects, including IC and LED pixel repairs for non-GOB modules, up to the number of spare modules provided.
  • CreationLED will bear the cost of material and off-site labor for repairs by its authorized personnel, the cost of shipping to CreationLED borne by the Buyer, subject to exclusions.

The extended warranty does not cover rigging hardware, cables, or video processors. Any repaired or replaced modules will be covered by the remainder of the original warranty, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

To request an RMA, contact support@creationled.video or your authorized dealer with a written description of the issue. Upon receiving an RMA number, the product must be securely packaged and shipped at the Buyer’s expense to the address provided in the RMA response. Products that are improperly packaged or missing required spare parts may incur additional charges and could be returned without repair.

CreationLED will cover the return shipping costs for repaired or replacement products within the 48 contiguous U.S. States, using a shipping method and timeline of its choice. Shipping costs to locations outside the 48 contiguous U.S. States are the Buyer’s responsibility.

Products returned without a valid RMA will be refused and returned at the Buyer’s expense.

Out of Warranty Service

If a product is returned after the warranty period, or does not meet the terms of the warranty, the Buyer will be billed for labor, materials, and applicable shipping costs. If no issue is found with the product, a minimum $125 bench service fee will apply. Payment must be made in advance of any repair or return, via credit card.

CreationLED will contact the Buyer with an estimate for the cost of repairs prior to beginning any work.
